When I took the path to theSky

all i noticed were the mountains dusted in fog...
my feet carried me higher and higher still,
and i found myself dancing above all
on silver lined clouds...
...when I took the path to theSky.

Definately a memorable photo. It has a certain appeal and charisma about it thats hard to forget. The bright and vivid colors really help push the focus of every thing as well. And that sky is beautiful.

Your photography is incredible, just as your poetry. But it is the blend of both that makes your work unique and beautiful.

This is a very good piece. I think it's because of the way the road curves into a hill that continues to curve, providing movement to an otherwise statice scene. It's nearly an abstract, wtih the limited colors and objects. There are nice contrasts in color between the pale blue of the sky and the sienna of the earth. While there are traces of mankind, the place is otherwise apparently desolate and abandoned, almost morbid, with perhaps a sense of foreboding provided by the creeping tendrils of fog.
